There are so many times I've felt like my patience was wearing thin with my riding, how much time you spend on the same bloody circle trying your hardest to perfect it and it ends up becoming a square and you feel like you might as well give up there and then! Getting more and more frustrated.
I have had a few sense of humour failures in the saddle mostly at myself but sometimes at my poor horse who was trying his hardest to do what I ask. Obviously it's all my fault he couldn't grasp what i was asking as I was asking it in the wrong way.
They do their best to please us, patience is a virtue and we all need that with our horses, to guide them in a calm and kind manner and teach them with courtesy and grace.
